Home/Websites for driving instructors
Driving instructor websites that fill your diary.
Learners (and their parents) compare instructors online before they ever ring. We build driving instructor websites that show your prices, pick-up areas and reviews and collect lesson enquiries while you’re out teaching - all for £39.99 a month.

Illustration: a lesson enquiry on your site
Learners choose an instructor they feel comfortable with. Your website is the first impression.
Why driving instructors need a website
Your next pupil’s parent is Googling you tonight.
Most new learners are 17 and nervous, and the person paying is often a parent. Both will look you up before getting in touch. If all they find is a phone number on a car roof sign, a lot of them choose the instructor with a proper website instead.
Go independent with confidence
Franchise fees add up fast. Many ADIs stay with a franchise only because it supplies pupils. A website plus a Google Business Profile gives you your own steady flow of enquiries, so you keep the whole lesson fee.
Answer the questions you hear 20 times a week
How much is a lesson? Do you do block bookings? Manual or automatic? Do you pick up from college? How long is the wait? Your website answers them once, clearly, and the enquiries that come through are from people who already like the answers.
Win the pupils you want
If you’d love more intensive courses, refresher lessons for nervous drivers, Pass Plus or motorway lessons, your website can lead with them. Specific pages bring in specific pupils.
What goes on a driving school website
Everything a learner checks before booking.
A tight 3-5 page site, built for learners on phones and parents on laptops.
Lesson prices & block deals
Hourly rates, block bookings, intensive courses and first-lesson offers, clearly laid out.
Pick-up areas & test centres
The towns, colleges and test centres you cover - key for local searches.
Manual or automatic
Your car, your transmission and why it suits the learner. Automatic demand keeps growing.
DVSA approved ADI
Your ADI status, standards check grade (if you want to share it) and dual-control car.
Pupil reviews & passes
Real first-time pass stories and Google reviews - your strongest selling point.
Lesson enquiry form
Postcode, experience, availability and manual/auto - so you can reply with one message.
Nervous learner page
Reassurance for anxious drivers and adults learning later in life.
Availability & waiting list
Say when you have space, or collect waiting list details when you don’t.

Franchise vs your own website
Where do your pupils come from?
A franchise, a Facebook page and your own website all bring in pupils in different ways. Only one of them belongs to you.
| Your own website | Franchise / national school | Facebook page only | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly cost | £39.99, everything included | Weekly franchise fee, often far higher | Free (paid ads extra) |
| Whose name pupils remember | Yours | The franchise’s | Yours |
| Found on Google locally | Yes - by town and test centre | The brand ranks | Rarely |
| Choose your pupils & areas | Fully | Allocated to you | Partly |
| If you leave | Domain transfers to you | Pupil flow stops | Page stays, reach doesn’t |
Avoid these
Why some instructor websites get no enquiries.
If you’ve had a site before and it did nothing, it was probably one of these.
No areas listed
Pupils search by town. “Covering the local area” tells Google nothing.
No prices
Learners and parents shop around. Hidden prices make people assume you’re the dearest.
Ancient design that breaks on phones
Your pupils are 17. If the site looks like 2010, so do you.
Only a phone number
You can’t answer while teaching. An enquiry form catches people who’d never leave a voicemail.

FAQ
Questions driving instructors ask us.
I have a waiting list. Why would I need a website?
Waiting lists come and go - especially when test backlogs change or you switch to automatic. A website lets you take enquiries on your terms: you can say you are fully booked, collect waiting list details, or promote only the lessons you want (e.g. intensive courses or refresher lessons).
Can I leave my franchise and keep getting pupils?
That's one of the main reasons instructors come to us. Going independent means you need your own way to be found. A website with your areas, prices and reviews - plus a Google Business Profile - is the foundation of an independent driving school.
Can pupils book lessons online?
We can link your booking app (such as Total Drive, MyDriveTime or Setmore) or add an enquiry form that asks for postcode, manual or automatic, experience level and availability - which is what most instructors prefer for first contact.
Should I show my pass rate?
Only if it's accurate and you're comfortable sharing it. Many instructors prefer to show real pupil reviews and first-time pass stories instead. We'll never invent numbers.
How much does a driving instructor website cost?
Agency-built driving school websites typically cost £800-£2,000 upfront plus hosting. GetOnWeb is £39.99 a month with no setup fee, including design, copy, domain, hosting and an hour of updates every month.
Can I list the test centres and areas I cover?
Yes, and you should. Pupils search by town and test centre. We list the areas you pick up from and the test centres you use, which helps you show up in local searches.
